What machine(s) does Travis use for ARM64?

Hi Everyone,

This question came up on the cURL-developer mailing list when troubleshooting a cURL self-test failure.

I’m aware of the SoftIron OverDrive servers, which are Aarch64-based servers. I believe they use AMD cpus for the machines. (Many folks don’t realize AMD makes arm chips, too).

What hardware is Travis using for its ARM64 environment?

Please check our CI Environments -> Overview - we’re running ARM+LXD based builds on Packet infrastructure. Instances we use currently are on Ampere eMAG CPU.
