Known Issue: Travis CI reports "Expected - Waiting for status to be reported" on the GitHub Status API, but the status never arrives

Status checks stopped working recently, probably in the last day or two for our repo that was already migrated to travis-ci.com and already had Travis CI - Pull Request checked.

Checks are no longer showing https://github.com/box/box-ui-elements/pull/1368/checks
https://travis-ci.com/box/box-ui-elements/pull_requests

Restarting build doesn’t do anything, still no report back to github

Could you try syncing your data, https://travis-ci.com/account/repositories or https://travis-ci.org/account/repositories, and restart (portions of, if appropriate) the builds?

Unfortunately I don’t see any sync button for orgs. The repository is added via the Travis github app and shows correctly on travis. The build also gets triggered properly on travis, just no status is reported back to github.

Builds are all passing

Also tried removing travis app from repository and re-adding it. No effect.

We had a huge back log in GitHub status updates, and we dealt with that. We do see some errors with GitHub tokens still. For example, https://github.com/box/box-ui-elements/pull/1371 is not getting updated because the token is invalid.

Thank you, @BanzaiMan! I was just writing my own response to this thread when you resolved it, and I’m now seeing the checks properly reporting back to the PR that I’m waiting on.

Awesome! That is great to hear.

@Darth If you have the authorization, could you try resetting the check status integration? (Disable and re-enable the repo?) You might need to restart the (parts of) the affected builds, unfortunately.

Thanks it worked now

All right. I’m going to mark this as “closed”. If the remedies mentioned in the top post does not work, please consider opening a new ticket.

Thank you for your patience, everyone!

We have the same problem on our few last pull requests. Travis builds are successful, but the status are not reached to github.
It’s one of them

This problem does not seems too be solved… This is the PR . Has there been any change lately on how things are running in Travis?
