When I try to trigger a build at [https://travis-ci.com/github/phpseclib/v3docs/builds](https://travis-ci.com/github/phpseclib/v3docs/builds) I get a “Oh no!
You tried to trigger a build for phpseclib/v3docs but the request was rejected.” error. I’m not seeing any logs that would explain that error, let alone what I need to do to fix it. The corresponding github repo is [https://github.com/phpseclib/v3docs](https://github.com/phpseclib/v3docs) .

Any ideas?

[In your case](https://travis-ci.com/github/phpseclib/v3docs/requests), it’s due to a missing `.travis.yml`.

Hello i have the same issue, but my `.travis.yaml` is not missing [https://travis-ci.com/github/djedjethai/kubernetes-complex/requests?requestId=563004873](https://travis-ci.com/github/djedjethai/kubernetes-complex/requests?requestId=563004873).

When i push to github, Travis detect it (i can only see it in the “Requests” section) but nothing happen. If i trigger the build then the Err message pop up. See my repos [https://github.com/djedjethai/kubernetes-complex](https://github.com/djedjethai/kubernetes-complex)

As there is no Err output i have no idea. I just upgraded my account (from .org to .com), did it created an issue ?? or did i miss something ?

see the screenshot of the err

Hello,

same as in previous reply, I also do have a .travis.yml file, and I migrated to [travis-ci.com](http://travis-ci.com) some time ago. Travis CI was running well until it has stopped just recently. I get same error message when I try to trigger a build now.

Any Ideas?

I have the same. It seems there might be a problem with the builds using the GitHub API. This is on [https://www.traviscistatus.com](https://www.traviscistatus.com) `Experiencing Issues with GitHub API Requests`. It has been like that for nearly 24 hours now.

The status page now says `All Systems Operational` however I still could not execute any builds. Then after reading up on Plans I realised I was not in any plan (have never been in a plan since first joining in Oct 2017)

I now discover that I have 10,000 credits, but each build minute uses 10 credit, so that give 1000 build minutes, and I have used nearly a third of that in two days, over the four repositories I maintain.

I’d like to know when and why the terms changed, and what happens in 5 days time when I consume all the credits.

Same problem, have a .travis.yml, working for years, migrated, all permissions established, this error on all repos, with no explanation.

I kept struggling on this, and finally left [travis.com](http://travis.com) for [Github Actions](https://docs.github.com/en/actions/) 😣 Now I can build & deploy again 🤷‍♂️

For me, the solution was as simple as renaming my `.travis.yaml` file to `.travis.yml`.

@djedjethai I seem to be having the same problem that you were having. Though, based on the links you provided in your post, it appears you’ve gotten it working. How did you resolve the issue? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

@jtstanley my travis file extension was .yaml. But it had to be .yml (in my case after that modif it worked)

On your “My Repositories” page, select “More Options”-\>“Settings”-\>“User management” and select your account active can solve this problem for me.
I don’t know why this happens, because I can use it 5 months ago without this change.

I am fully convinced the act of asking for help opens up solutions unseen before. The issue is solved. Travis filed must begin with “.”
