We have just released a new version of `dpl v1` which should fix this issue ["missing api\_key" when deploying to GitHub releases](https://travis-ci.community/t/missing-api-key-when-deploying-to-github-releases/5761/14)

We still recommend using both `dpl v2` and build config validation, as these are going to become the default in January.

Hi Sven

I am having the same issue with Travis, get the following message

```auto
